Role Description

We are looking for a freelance Content Creator who is based in San Diego, CA, and is comfortable speaking directly to the camera and creating engaging content for social media.

You’ll work closely with our Co-Founder to brainstorm ideas, film videos, and help create content. We’re looking for someone creative, reliable, and comfortable making TikTok/Reels-style content that feels natural and authentic.

This is a contract/freelance role with flexible scheduling based on content needs. You must be located in San Diego County and able to travel to Carlsbad for shoots.

Qualifications

• Comfortable and confident speaking on camera
• Experience creating content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, or YouTube Shorts
• Strong storytelling and communication skills
• Interest in tech, AI, startups, or digital products is a big plus
• Basic understanding of filming, lighting, & sound
• Creativity, adaptability, and the ability to connect authentically with an audience
• Organized and reliable with good time management
• Experience with social media marketing or brand content is a plus
