USA (Remote)
Posted 10 hrs ago
Job Description
SWGA Homecare is a growing healthcare technology and home-care company building its funding infrastructure. This is an entrepreneurial founding-stage opportunity to build a non-dilutive and strategic funding pipeline before lending becomes a major capital strategy.
All open positionsEmployment type: Part-time, Contractor (strategic executive), with potential to expand as funding and company operations grow.
Location: Remote (US), with occasional travel to Southwest Georgia as appropriate.
The mission
Own the company’s grants and strategic funding strategy, identify qualified non-dilutive capital opportunities, build institutional relationships, and move opportunities from discovery through submission, award, compliance, and reporting.
What you'll do
- Build and maintain a grants and strategic funding pipeline, prioritizing qualified, high-probability opportunities.
- Research federal, state, local, healthcare, rural health, workforce development, technology, entrepreneurship, foundation, and corporate funding opportunities.
- Assess eligibility and fit for each opportunity.
- Develop grant calendars and submission plans.
- Coordinate proposals, budgets, supporting documentation, and narratives with leadership.
- Build relationships with economic-development organizations, foundations, healthcare institutions, universities, corporate partners, and public-sector funding organizations.
- Track submissions, decisions, awards, reporting requirements, and renewal opportunities.
- Establish repeatable funding processes and an executive funding dashboard.
- Identify strategic partnerships that can unlock grants or other non-dilutive resources.
Bootstrap orientation
We are looking for an entrepreneurial operator, not someone who simply fills out grant applications. The person should be comfortable creating a funding function from the ground up, working with limited resources, prioritizing high-probability opportunities, and communicating directly with the founder/executive leadership team.
Preferred background
Demonstrated grant development, fundraising, or business development experience. Familiarity with healthcare, health tech, home care, rural/community programs, workforce initiatives, or economic development is valuable.
- Strong research, writing, budgeting, relationship-building, and project-management skills.
- Ability to independently manage a funding pipeline and deadlines.
Success measures
- Qualified funding pipeline created
- Applications submitted
- Strategic funding relationships developed
- Awards secured
- Total non-dilutive funding generated
- Reporting and compliance completed on time
- Repeatable funding process established
