Responsibilities

• Distribute flyers and promotional materials in designated outdoor areas, including neighborhoods, commercial districts, and community events
• Engage with community members through face-to-face communication, explaining the purpose of flyers and answering questions
• Conduct canvassing efforts door-to-door to promote campaigns, events, or services effectively
• Use mobile devices to track distribution progress and report on outreach activities
• Build rapport with residents and community groups to foster positive relationships and encourage participation
• Assist in organizing community engagement activities and fundraising initiatives when needed
• Maintain a professional appearance and represent the organization positively during all interactions

Requirements

• Previous field sales or outdoor marketing experience preferred
• Supervising experience is a plus for those interested in leadership opportunities
• Strong communication skills with the ability to negotiate and engage conversationally with diverse audiences
• Experience in canvassing, telemarketing, or door-to-door sales highly desirable
• Customer service background that demonstrates patience, professionalism, and active listening skills
• Bilingual abilities are advantageous for reaching broader communities
• Outdoor work experience involving walking for extended periods in various weather conditions is ideal
