Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of a strong, existing events lineup for mortgage, primarily geared towards sales in-person meetings, and then building the playbook for expanding event presence on-stage, in new thought-leadership forums and through field motions.
  • Strategize a new non-real-estate events plan, including identifying strategic event and field motions in priority adjacent industries, designed to establish credibility, develop relationships, and create pipeline in those markets.
  • Unify existing and new vertical field marketing strategies into a tiered event strategy across industry, partner, customer, and executive programs.
  • Decide the right level of presence for each program, from attendance and executive meetings to sponsorships, booths, speaking opportunities, roundtables, dinners, and roadshows.
  • Run event programs end to end: goals, budget, registrations, vendors, booth and materials, attendee lists, on-site execution, and follow-up.
  • Partner with Lender and Settlement Sales to connect event plans to target accounts, meetings, and next steps, ensuring event participation converts into a repeatable pipeline and revenue motion, strengthens Snapdocs’ credibility across the mortgage ecosystem and new verticals, and builds executive, partner, and customer relationships that support growth
  • Work with Revenue Marketing on pre-event outreach, in-event signal capture, and post-event follow-up, including help with prospecting, messaging and social engagement.
  • Use HubSpot as the system of record for event planning, lists, activity tracking, and handoffs, with Salesforce and Slack connected where needed.
  • Track cost per attendee, meetings booked, meeting follow-up, qualified opportunities, pipeline impact, and 30-day post-event ROI. Use what you learn to make sharper investment calls.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of field marketing, event marketing, or go-to-market marketing experience in B2B SaaS, fintech, financial services, or a similarly complex industry.
  • A track record of owning events or field programs that contributed to qualified meetings, pipeline, customer relationships, or revenue.
  • Excellent project management. You keep many workstreams moving, write clear next steps, and make it obvious who owns what and when.
  • Strong judgment on event investment. You can assess attendee lists, audience fit, sponsorship value, sales goals, cost, and expected return before recommending a program.
  • Experience working closely with sales, customers, partners, vendors, and executives. You make it easy for others to do their part and keep things from falling through the cracks.
  • Comfort learning and operating marketing automation, CRM, lead capture, or event systems. Direct HubSpot experience is a plus.
  • Experience working on a lean marketing team with broad ownership, from deciding where to invest to making sure the room is ready.
  • Ability to travel to industry events, customer programs, and executive gatherings. Travel will be dependent on the specific event needs, but this role is not required to be at every event, instead using good judgment and clear evaluation of need to determine on-site presence levels.

Benefits

  • Excellent medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • 401(k) with up to 4% company match
  • 16 weeks of paid parental leave
  • Flexible Paid Vacation Time Off + 10 Sick Days for exempt roles
  • Generous Accrued Paid Vacation Time Off + 10 sick days for non-exempt roles
  • Summer & Winter Break (~1-week each) + 9 Holidays per year
  • Healthcare and Dependent Care FSA
  • HSA Employer Contribution ($75-150 for individuals, $150-$250 for families)
  • $15K Family Building Benefit (lifetime limit)
  • Life and Disability Insurance
