Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end planning and execution for 12+ annual events.
  • Manage multi-city logistics simultaneously, including booth build, shipping, labor, lead retrieval, and on-site execution.
  • Develop pre-game briefs and post-game reports; run pre-game and post-game meetings with sales.
  • Set per-event KPI goals (lead targets, pipeline contribution) with sales leadership; track performance.
  • Own the full vendor ecosystem: booth vendors, AV and demo screens, freight/logistics, print vendors, and agencies.
  • Direct a logistics contractor to support high-volume periods; scope work, manage deliverables, align across events.
  • Negotiate contracts, manage approvals through legal/finance workflows, ensure on-time payments.
  • Lead 1-pager production for major shows; coordinate with content and design for account-specific materials.
  • Manage event inventory (merchandise, materials, signage, assets) for stock, quality, and readiness.
  • Partner with sales leadership to assign the right AEs/BDRs and prepare with goals and materials.
  • Actively manage CADDi's industry association memberships for promotion and community building.
  • Plan and execute executive engagement events and customer entertainment programs from logistics to follow-up.
  • Align with marketing and sales on guest targeting, outreach, and post-event lead progression.
  • Design and execute multi-channel campaigns to drive attendance and engagement for each event.
  • Coordinate with content, design, and digital marketing to ensure on-brand, on-time activations.
  • Work with marketing to develop pre/on-site/post-event plans for every program.

Requirements

  • 6–8 years of field marketing or event marketing in a B2B SaaS environment with independent program ownership.
  • Experience managing a high-volume annual event calendar (10+ events/year) across cities/formats.
  • Ability to manage external vendors and direct contractors or agency partners.
  • Proven pipeline impact from field programs with trackable lead numbers and pipeline contribution.
  • Budget ownership including vendor contract negotiation and internal approvals.
  • Strong cross-functional communication with sales leaders, designers, content, finance, and legal.
  • Proficiency in HubSpot or equivalent MAP and Salesforce or equivalent CRM.
  • On-site availability in Chicago.

Preferred

  • Background in manufacturing, supply chain, or industrial SaaS.
  • Experience managing industry association or membership relationships.
  • ABM program experience.
  • Familiarity with event tools/platforms: Freeman, Skyline, Veloxity, Canva, Asana, Eventbrite.
  • Experience planning executive or customer entertainment events alongside a field sales team.
