Job Summary

Drive integrated mall marketing by shaping strategy, budget, and market research, while coordinating digital, print, PR, and tenant-focused campaigns to boost foot traffic and center performance.

  • Digital, print, and paid media: oversee websites, social channels, ads, and event promotions to raise center awareness.
  • Tenant relations and community activity: activate promotions, events, and partnerships that lift sales and engagement.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Support the General Manager with the development, implementation, and coordination of marketing objectives for the property.
  • Assist in the creation of the property’s annual marketing strategy and marketing budget.
  • Conduct market research and analyze findings with the General Manager to influence the development of the property’s annual marketing strategy.
  • Compare monthly budget actuals with budget estimates through monthly reforecasting and invoice submittals.
  • Coordinate with vendors and other onsite staff to support the production of weekly, monthly, and quarterly events.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with property tenants to advise on sales productivity, event involvement, and promotional opportunities within the center.
  • Plan, coordinate, and attend community networking events to maintain professional relationships between relevant community leaders and local institutions.
  • Oversee all digital initiatives, including but not limited to maintaining the property’s website, and social media engagement (Facebook and Instagram).
  • Collaborate with a third-party Email and SMS coordinator to provide mall local content for bimonthly marketing blasts.
  • Spearhead the property’s paid advertising strategy by conducting digital ads for events, sales opportunities, and relevant tenant promotions as needed.

Requirements

  • Availability to be onsite part-time throughout the week with weekend and holiday availability as needed.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong project management, multitasking, and critical thinking skills.
  • Proven personable and professional attitude with a desire to be collaborative.
  • Intermediate math skills and excellent analytical skills.
  • Intermediate to expert ability using Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other basic office software programs.
  • Intermediate to expert understanding of Meta Business Suite, Instagram, and Facebook.
  • Proficiency in building paid advertising campaigns and targeted audiences through Meta Ads.
  • Intermediate to expert proficiency using content creation and graphic design tools such as Canva, CapCut, Edits, DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Adobe After Effects, and/or Adobe SparkPost.
  • Associate degree in marketing required.
  • One to two years of related marketing experience in a relevant field.
