Responsibilities

• Logistics & Transport: Pick up market inventory, tent, weights, and setup supplies from our storage unit and safely transport them to the market location.
• Set Up & Breakdown: Arrive early to set up a clean, visually appealing, and inviting market booth (tent, tables, displays, and signage) and pack everything down efficiently at the close of the market.
• Sales & Engagement: Greet marketgoers, share what makes our small-batch nut butters special, and drive sales with an upbeat, friendly attitude.
• Digital Checkout: Process customer payments smoothly utilizing your own smartphone and our mobile Point of Sale (POS) system.
• Inventory Management: Return remaining stock and market gear back to the storage unit at the end of the shift, keeping things organized for the next market.

Requirements

• Reliable Transportation: You must have a dependable vehicle with enough space to comfortably transport market gear (including a 10x10 canopy tent, folding tables, and product bins).
• Tech-Ready: You need a reliable smartphone with cellular data to run our POS system for card transactions.
• Stamina & Energy: Ability to lift up to 40–50 lbs and remain standing/engaged with customers for the duration of the market shift (often outdoors in various weather conditions).
• Punctuality: Farmers markets have strict setup windows. Being on time is an absolute must.
• People Person: Outgoing, friendly, and comfortable starting conversations with strangers.
