Job Summary

Own the end-to-end admissions and community-marketing engine for senior housing, balancing prospect relationships, intake decisions, and local partnerships that drive occupancy and move-ins.

  • Admissions & Relationships: Own prospect engagement, needs discovery, and move-in conversion with families and residents.
  • Community Marketing: Build referral networks, external partnerships, and local events to generate inquiries.
  • Compliance & Representation: Maintain HIPAA and resident-rights compliance while upholding CAPLICO values and presenting a professional community image.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Successfully leads the resident recruitment process by establishing and cultivating meaningful relationships with prospects and their families and identifies individual candidate’s needs.
  • Develops and maintains productive internal and external marketing strategies including referral sources and community relationships.
  • Maintains occupancy levels, tracks and trends resident movements, is the central point of contact for all prospective residents and manages the admission/assessment process in collaboration with the community management team.
  • Ensures the CAPLICO Core Values and Code of Conduct are adhered to at all times.
  • Ensures compliance with Resident Rights and HIPAA policies at all times.
  • Fosters a positive community image in the local community and presents a professional image.
  • Forms alliances with key community individuals who have influential relationships with the geriatric population and/or their family members.
  • Develops and cultivates relationships with religious, healthcare, skilled-care, and other professional businesses and service providers in the community.
  • Identifies, creates and distributes appropriate promotional materials designed to generate additional inquiries.
  • Represents the community at local community functions by making informational presentations. This may also include hosting/leading local support groups and participating in other appropriate community organizations’ events.

Requirements

  • Superior communication skills and strong customer service orientation required
  • Valid state issued driver’s license and travel are required
  • Ability to speak and understand the English language
  • Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action
  • Ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, visitors, and the general public based on whatever maturity level they are currently functioning
  • Ability to be calm and level-headed in emergencies
  • Well groomed, professional and possess ability to work harmoniously with other personnel
  • Follows written and oral instructions
  • Maintain patience, tact, cheerful disposition and enthusiasm, as well as ability to handle residents, staff, and visitors, based on whatever maturity level they are currently functioning

Preferred

  • Degree in marketing or human services field preferred
  • Prior experience in marketing to seniors, in sales, senior housing, long-term care insurance, hospitality or an appropriate healthcare/personal care background preferred
