Own WordPress updates and SEO improvements as a Web and SEO Specialist Intern, driving site health and content performance in a remote setting.

  • Maintain WordPress sites, perform updates, and fix basic HTML/CSS issues.
  • Must-have: SEO knowledge (on-page and off-page) and ability to analyze GA4, Google Search Console.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Website Updates/Maintenance (WordPress)
  • Speed optimization, fix website errors, optimize webpages & media
  • Troubleshooting content issues.
  • Monitoring the performance of the live website via GA4, Search Console & SEMRush
  • Researching new and emergent keywords and integrating them into content
  • Collaborating with marketing and advertising teams to create SEO content
  • Developing strategies to team with high-value sites and implement cross-links
  • Sugesting changes to sites that improve positioning via content and linking
  • Assist with Other Marketing Initiatives, As Needed

Requirements

  • Pursuing a Degree in Marketing/Communications/Computer Science or Related Field
  • Must be within Good Standing of your College/University
  • Passion for Digital Marketing
  • SEO Knowledge On-Page & Off-Page
  • Ability to Multitask in a Faced-Paced Environment
  • Marketing Software/CRM Experience (HighLevel, Monday, Hubspot)
  • Ability to analyze GA4, Google Search Console, GTM
  • WordPress Experience, HTML, CSS & Javascript
  • Understanding data mapping, automation through zapier, make.com
  • Attention to Detail
  • Desire to Learn

Preferred

  • Basic understanding of Web/SEO Analytics
  • Good understanding of website architecture and aesthetics.
  • Ability to keep up on digital marketing trends
  • Experience with Keyword Research
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Willingness to Step Outside of Comfort Zone
