Job Summary

Drive executive marketing and business development efforts for Fusion Ventures by coordinating events, content, and investor outreach in a fast-paced construction-focused firm.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Attend investor conferences, M&A networking events, and business owner seminars alongside the CEO — working the room independently and representing Fusion Ventures with confidence
  • Manage and grow LinkedIn presence — drafting posts, engaging with content, and executing a consistent brand strategy for multiple entities
  • Create and manage marketing materials — one-pagers, event collateral, email templates, and social content aligned with the Fusion Ventures brand
  • Run outreach campaigns to investors, M&A advisors, and deal intermediaries — tracking responses and managing follow-ups in CRM
  • Draft follow-up emails and LinkedIn messages after networking events while conversations are fresh
  • Conduct research on target investors, PE firms, family offices, and acquisition targets
  • Support preparation of investor materials, pitch decks, and executive summaries

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of experience in marketing, executive support, business development, or a related field
  • Proficient in LinkedIn, Canva or Adobe, CRM tools, and Microsoft Office / Google Workspace
  • Genuine interest in business, entrepreneurship, M&A, or the construction industry
  • Comfortable in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment where no two days are the same
  • Willingness to travel within California and the Sun Belt for events

  • Marketing coordinator or brand manager at a real estate, financial services, or professional services firm
  • Executive assistant with marketing responsibilities supporting a CEO or senior executive
  • Business development or client relations role in a deal-driven or client-facing environment
