Job Summary

Own and lead Medforth's creative strategy and in-house team to align brand, campaigns, and partnerships with enrollment goals, while driving performance and innovation.

  • Own the brand identity and vision across SGU, RVU, and portfolio
  • Direct creative, operations, and agency relationships to deliver measurable enrollment results

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Creative Strategy
  • Take our marketing and enrollment goals and turn them into creative strategy and campaigns that drive results, not just creative that looks good.
  • Set the creative vision and quality bar for Medforth and its institutions, and hold the team to it.
  • Own the brand: the identity, the voice, and how it shows up across SGU, RVU, and the rest of the portfolio.
  • Lead the Creative Function
  • Lead the in-house creative team (design, video, and creative operations) along with our freelance and agency partners.
  • Set clear creative direction, give feedback that makes the work better, and make the final call.
  • Build and develop the team, bring in the right talent, and put people in the roles that fit their strengths.
  • Campaigns and Conversion
  • Lead concepting and direction for brand and enrollment campaigns across video, digital, and social.

Preferred

  • 15+ years in creative leadership, including real experience running a team across design, video, and content.
  • A track record of creative that drove business results, not just a strong portfolio. Enrollment, brand, or demand-driven experience is a plus.
  • A strategic thinker who can turn a business goal into creative that converts.
  • A real leader who can build a team, develop people, and raise the level of the work.
  • Just as comfortable owning quality as owning deadlines.
  • Expert in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma, experienced directing video and motion, and fluent in modern and AI tools.
  • Experience managing agencies and freelancers.
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Visual Communications, or a related field.

Celebrating 45+ years of higher learning on the island of Grenada, no other medical school in the world provides more new doctors to the US healthcare system. In 2024, SGU placed more than 930 graduates into US residencies in more than 22 specialties.* St. George’s University is a dynamic center of higher education with a global network of academic, medical, and scientific collaborators in education, medicine, research, and science. Since opening in 1977, more than 21,000 graduates have gone on to successful careers in medicine, veterinary medicine, public health, science, and business, and have practiced in all 50 US states and more than 50 countries around the world. Currently, more than 7,000 students from 140+ countries attend SGU and are taught by more than 2,300 esteemed faculty members recruited from across the world. SGU offers advanced, premedical, and pre-veterinary degrees in its Schools of Medicine and Veterinary Medicine, and independent and dual graduate degrees in the sciences, public health, and business. In addition, undergraduate degree programs are available through its School of Arts and Sciences.
