Executive Advisor (Media & Broadcasting), World NGO Day Global Council

World NGO Day, a globally recognized international day founded in Europe and now observed in 145+ countries, endorsed by the EU, UNESCO, UNDP, and the Council of Europe, is inviting Executive Advisors (volunteer) to join its Global Council.

The Global Council serves as a strategic advisory body and official jury for the inaugural World NGO Day Art Awards - a first-of-its-kind global competition, born in Los Angeles and set for launch, recognizing creative professionals whose work in photography, illustration, and digital art/graphic design raises awareness of civil society and NGO/nonprofit causes.

 

Who We’re Looking For

•          Senior media professionals, journalists, TV presenters, producers, and communications leaders

•          Recognized voices with strong editorial judgment and industry credibility

•          Individuals willing to contribute their influence, insights, and networks to support and elevate the global narrative of World NGO Day

 

Role & Responsibilities

•          Serve as a jury member for a global Art Awards recognizing creative excellence with social impact

•          Provide strategic guidance on media positioning, storytelling, and global communications

•          Shape compelling narratives that resonate across international audiences

•          Support media partnerships, broadcast opportunities, and editorial collaborations

•          Facilitate connections with media outlets, platforms, and key industry stakeholders

•          Participate in bi-quarterly virtual Council meetings and working groups

•          Represent the Council in select interviews, panels, podcasts, and public engagements

•          Contribute to thought leadership and global media visibility

 

Commitment

•          Volunteer position (unpaid, ensuring independence and neutrality)

•          Approximately 3–6 hours per month, with a 12-month renewable term

•          Flexible engagement, with potential paid strategic collaborations for long-term contributors
