Job Summary

Own the end-to-end events and technical marketing activation for live product demonstrations, trade shows, and regional activations, driving flawless planning, scalable demo setups, and on-site execution with cross-functional alignment.

  • Event Execution: coordinate milestones, logistics, staffing, and budgets to deliver impactful live activations.
  • Technical Demos: build, troubleshoot, and demonstrate hardware/software setups for media, partners, and customers.
  • Internal Coordination: align with Marketing and Product on signage, demos, and activation standards to ensure consistent brand experiences.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Event planning / Project Management
  • Organize and set event planning milestones that enable visibility on the progress of execution.
  • Tracks and maintains an inventory of products and promotional items in Event storage.
  • Assists with travel coordination for tradeshows, conferences, and events, as needed.
  • Create and keep track of Purchase Orders done for the specific event being executed against the show budget.
  • Travel to events and trade shows (as needed), both locally and internationally, with technical expertise and product setup/demonstrations.
  • Develop SOP’s and structure for scalable demo standards, live presentation frameworks, and activation strategies.
  • Technical Marketing
  • Build and troubleshoot product set-ups for events. Ensure all hardware and software are up-to-date and working efficiently.
  • Know the ins and outs of PC building. Be able to setup and trouble-shoot PCs at an event.
  • Deliver live product demonstrations and technical walkthroughs for media, influencers, partners, enterprise customers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Internal Coordination of events
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team on product signage, design, technical setups, and promotional materials
  • Work with events manager to keep stakeholders informed and ensure keeping to the budget and show objectives.
  • Assist in the coordination of logistics for tradeshows of your region.
  • Event Execution and Post-show
  • Provides onsite support at tradeshows and events, including monitoring deliveries and staff scheduling.
  • Will be the coordinator on duty for the staff at the event
  • Assist on set up event booth and/or area including tear down with staff members.

Requirements

  • 3+ years work experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree with a focus on Business or Marketing.
  • Event organizing experience preferred but not required.
  • Proven technical product knowledge for consumer hardware.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong project management skills in fast-paced environments.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a technical mindset.
  • Self-starter who takes initiative, attention to detail and highly reliable.
  • Team Player, strong communication skills, with interpersonal and follow-up skills.
  • Problem solver - Outside of the box thinker that can bring creative ideas and persistent in finding solutions to any situation.
  • Able to lift at least 30lbs
  • Is an avid gamer or is a PC gamer enthusiast.
