Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Independently plan and execute assigned events supporting university partner programs, including conferences, graduate fairs, partner-hosted events, webinars, and recruitment initiatives
  • Own event timelines, task lists, and deliverables aligned to program and enrollment goals
  • Make day-to-day execution decisions within defined scope, budget, and guidelines
  • Proactively identify risks or gaps and resolve execution issues as they arise
  • Coordinate all event logistics including registration, materials, shipping, travel support, and on-site needs
  • Manage vendor communications related to venues, catering, A/V, and event services
  • Ensure all logistics are confirmed, documented, and executed accurately
  • Serve as the primary operational point of contact for assigned events
  • Lead on-site execution for assigned events, including setup, registration, coordination, and breakdown
  • Serve as a point of contact for university partners, vendors, and internal teams during events

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of experience in event marketing, marketing coordination, or project coordination roles
  • Demonstrated ability to manage event execution independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize competing deadlines
  • High attention to detail and follow-through
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment within defined objectives and guidelines
  • Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for on-site event execution
  • Familiarity with project management tools and basic budget tracking preferred
