Job Summary

Own and optimize live events programs by aligning strategy, logistics, and budget to maximize impact across partner teams.

  • Own cross-functional event planning and vendor negotiations to deliver on ambitious objectives and measurable success metrics.
  • Lead budgeting, contracting, and on-site execution while driving post-event evaluations and continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate team development and brand-aligned activation, with a view to trend-spotting and strategic insights for future programs.

Job Description

Responsibilities
  • Serves as key point person with business partners to keep all functional areas updated on key initiatives for assigned programs
  • Consults on event strategy, objectives and program goals and makes recommendations to achieve minimum spend for maximum impact
  • Plays an integral role in managing communication and logistics throughout the planning process
  • Works closely with event management colleagues to create opportunities for cross-firm collaboration in events
  • Implements processes and best practices to benchmark and measure program objectives
  • Possesses knowledge of contractual language as it pertains to meetings and events and applies this understanding during deliveries
  • Negotiates with vendors to achieve maximum value for the best product and services
  • Manages event budgets and ensures accuracy in developing estimates, working and actual spends
  • Handles all event audio-video production from creative concept to final production
  • Helps to develop success measures and evaluates all events against objectives, recommending areas for improvement
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Communications, required
  • Five (5) or more years of marketing / event planning experience, required
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, required
  • CRM experience, preferred
  • Two (2) or more years of experience working in the accounting, financial consulting, business advisory and/or professional services industries, preferred
