Job Summary

Own family-focused event marketing from content creation to calendar placements, driving weekly events and continuous improvement based on audience feedback.

  • Event Promotion: Draft promotional content and secure calendar spots using Eventbrite, Luma, and Facebook to raise awareness
  • Campaign Optimization: Gather feedback, analyze engagement, and refine event campaigns
  • Program Calendar: Plan and schedule weekly family-oriented events and webinars across summer into fall

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Draft promotional content for email, social media, and event listings; get onto popular calendars to share awareness, using eventbrite/luma/facebook/etc to promote
  • Gather customer feedback, analyze engagement metrics, and suggest improvements to event campaigns
  • Brainstorm and schedule events (targeting one-per-week over the summer into fall), including themed workshops, business fairs, and webinars tailored to families and young learners

Requirements

  • Strong Event Marketing skills to support planning, promoting, and evaluating online events, workshops, and launches
  • Foundational Marketing and Sales abilities to assist with campaigns, funnels, and converting interest into registrations
  • Excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to engage families, respond to inquiries, and represent the brand positively
  • Comfort with remote collaboration tools (e.g., Zoom, Google Workspace, project management platforms) and basic social media usage
  • Strong organizational skills, reliability in meeting deadlines, and willingness to learn and take initiative in a fast-moving environment

Preferred

  • Interest in education, youth entrepreneurship, or edutainment; prior experience in student clubs, events, or outreach is a plus
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed studies in Marketing, Communications, Education, Business, or a related field is preferred but not required
