We’re seeking a highly organized and enthusiastic Event & PR Marketing Specialist to join our North American MarCom team. You’ll support large exhibitions, local sales-driven events, a distributor co-op program while gaining exposure to the broader world of B2B marketing at Kardex.

This is an ideal role for someone who is eager to learn, collaborate across teams, and take ownership of key initiatives. In addition to event coordination, this role includes public relations responsibilities such as managing our company’s profiles on PR contribution platforms like Quoted and Featured, monitoring for relevant media opportunities, and proactively pitching content ideas. You’ll also have the opportunity to work closely with our Content Marketing Specialist, gaining valuable skills in storytelling, digital campaigns, and marketing strategy—a great foundation for your professional growth.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Event Planning & Execution

• Coordinate and support major industry exhibitions—from booth strategy/design and pre-show promotion to onsite logistics and post-event wrap-up.
• Support local event initiatives for our direct sales team, such as regional open houses, customer days, and niche conferences.
• Manage the shipping and logistics of marketing assets, literature, and giveaways to ensure events are visually aligned with our brand.
• Contribute fresh ideas to a collaborative, global event marketing team that values creativity and innovation.

Distributor Co-Op Program

• Administer our co-op event support program for distributors across the Americas.
• Provide marketing resources and coordination assistance for smaller distributor-hosted events.

Sales Support

• Serve as a go-to resource for the sales team—helping with access to literature, photos, videos, templates, and branded promotional items.
• Monitor and maintain our inventory of marketing materials and event giveaways.

Public Relations & Brand Visibility

• Maintain and monitor our company’s profiles on third-party PR platforms like Quoted and Featured.
• Actively pitch story ideas, product insights, and executive quotes to align with current media opportunities.
• Track submissions and outreach progress, reporting back on published contributions.

Content & Team Collaboration

• Support our Content Marketing Specialist with writing, editing, or distributing digital content such as event summaries, email blasts, or social media posts.
