Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Support the planning and execution of corporate events, trade shows, customer experiences, brand activations, user conferences, and other assigned programs.
  • Coordinate event logistics including registration, housing, travel, shipping, food & beverage, AV, signage, branded materials, staffing, and vendor requirements.
  • Support event sourcing activities, including researching and evaluating venues, vendors, and event partners; coordinating proposals; and assisting with contracting and procurement processes.
  • Own assigned events or defined workstreams within larger programs, including Resmed’s annual user conference, managing timelines, deliverables, stakeholders, and vendors from planning through execution.
  • Provide flexible support across the Experience Marketing & Events team based on event volume, business priorities, and evolving needs.
  • Manage operational and financial processes including purchase orders, invoices, budget tracking, reconciliation, vendor documentation, and event reporting.
  • Maintain project plans, event calendars, trackers, shared resources, templates, documentation, and other team tools.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors to gather requirements, communicate expectations, and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Support onsite event execution and attendee experience as needed.
  • Assist with post-event reporting, measurement, debriefs, and identification of opportunities for continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, hospitality, event management, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in event planning, event marketing, marketing operations, hospitality, project coordination, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively across teams and with external partners.
  • Demonstrated initiative, adaptability, and willingness to take ownership of both event execution and operational responsibilities.
  • Experience with event budgets, invoicing, purchase orders, vendor management, or related financial processes preferred.
  • Comfortable using AI-enabled tools in day-to-day work, with sound judgment around accuracy, confidentiality, and responsible use.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with event and work management platforms such as Cvent, Asana, SharePoint, and Confluence, including their use for project management, documentation, collaboration, and knowledge sharing, preferred.
  • Willing and able to travel domestically and internationally as needed, approximately 10–25%.
