Responsibilities

• Support nonprofit outreach campaigns, community engagement initiatives, and public awareness events
• Communicate directly with community members at live events, fundraising campaigns, and promotional activities
• Represent nonprofit organizations professionally while promoting campaign goals and community programs
• Share information about nonprofit missions, fundraising initiatives, and outreach efforts with the public
• Assist with event setup, coordination, and on-site communication activities
• Help create positive interactions and maintain strong public-facing communication standards
• Collaborate with team members to execute event marketing and outreach objectives
• Participate in paid training focused on communication, leadership, marketing, and public relations skills
• Attend team meetings, mentorship sessions, and ongoing professional development workshops

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Positive attitude with a strong willingness to learn
• Team-oriented mindset and strong work ethic
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, public-facing environments
• Interest in communications, public relations, marketing, nonprofit outreach, or customer engagement

Preferred

• Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, promotions, or events is a plus but not required
