Job Description
Lead the digital content strategy for a transformative migration to Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Cloud, driving the vision for how enterprise content is structured, governed, and delivered across a unified digital platform. This role is responsible for establishing editorial standards, content governance, and migration strategies that ensure content is optimized for AEM Sites, Assets (DAM), and Content Fragments while delivering a consistent, scalable digital experience.
Serving as the strategic bridge between business stakeholders, project leadership, and CGI delivery teams, you will influence key decisions, accelerate content migration, and establish a sustainable operating model for the future state platform. Success in this role requires strong collaboration across business and technology teams to drive adoption, align priorities, and ensure the new content ecosystem supports both current business needs and long-term digital transformation objectives
This position can be located in any US CGI office, hybrid - Preference is New York or New Jersey
Your future duties and responsibilities
Define the target content strategy for AEM Sites, DAM/Assets, and Content Fragments, aligned with the architecture of the future platform.
- Build the editorial governance framework: roles and responsibilities, workflows, approval rules, content lifecycle, ownership, and publishing standards.
- Define the content migration rules: prioritization, keep/remove/update decisions, consolidation, rewriting, enrichment, and quality validation.
- Orchestrate content preparation for migration to AEM Cloud in close collaboration with SEO, UX, and Brand teams.
- Define the principles for content structuring across pages, fragments, variations, assets, and metadata, while keeping the model simple and governable.
- Drive editorial consistency across multiple sites and brands, especially for shared elements such as navigation, reusable components, and content templates.
- Oversee the functional mapping between legacy and target templates, components, content structures, and URLs, as a core project deliverable.
- Monitor the quality of migrated content: completeness, consistency, brand compliance, and readiness for publication.
- Coordinate SEO related topics during the redesign: URL governance, redirects, information architecture, and organic performance protection.
- Support the definition of runbooks, operational guides, and training materials to enable teams to operate independently after go live.
- Act as the intermediary with the CGI technical team to clarify needs, validate migration assumptions, and translate business requirements into actionable AEM requirements.
- Participate in project steering meetings, content workshops, and decision-making forums related to content, governance, and migration.
- Facilitate and lead workshops with business teams to gather requirements, clarify use cases, arbitrate content topics, prioritize actions, and align stakeholders.
- Prepare workshops by defining the objective, agenda, participants, materials, key questions, and expected decisions.
- Structure workshop outcomes, decisions, action items, and open points, then ensure follow up and accountability.
- Bridge business workshops and AEM implementation work by translating expressed needs into concrete rules, content models, workflows, and migration backlog items.
- Foster day to day collaboration with teams through a clear, responsive, and decision-oriented working framework.
- At least 10 + years of experience
- Strong command of publishing concepts
- Solid understanding of asset structure, metadata, reuse, and media governance.
- Strong knowledge of Content Fragments: models, variations, reuse, editorial structuring, and use within pages.
- Deep expertise in content strategy: information architecture, editorial rationalization, taxonomy, content modeling, and standardization.
- Proven experience in content migration across complex environments, with decisions around retention, enrichment, merging, and removal.
- Strong SEO migration knowledge: URL mapping, redirects, information hierarchy, and performance impact.
- Ability to work closely with UX and Brand teams to ensure consistency in journeys, tone, and structure.
- Ability to collaborate with technical teams and the CGI technical team without losing business readability.
- Excellent workshop facilitation, synthesis, collective animation, and decision management skills.
- Strong collaboration mindset with multidisciplinary and international teams.
- Professional English proficiency for interactions with technical and project teams.
- Bachelor's degree or relevant experience.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $71,700.00 $167,200.00.
