We are hiring Energy Savings Program Representatives to work inside retail locations and connect customers with programs designed to help reduce their monthly electric expenses.

In this customer-facing role, you will engage with shoppers, educate them about available energy savings and assistance programs, answer questions, and help eligible customers complete the enrollment process. This is a great opportunity for individuals with experience in customer service, retail, sales, hospitality, or community outreach who enjoy making a positive impact.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and engage customers in a retail store environment
• Educate customers about available energy savings programs and utility assistance options
• Identify customer needs and ask qualifying questions to determine eligibility
• Assist customers with program applications and enrollment paperwork
• Provide friendly, professional, and informative customer support
• Clearly communicate program benefits and answer customer questions
• Track daily customer interactions and meet outreach goals
• Maintain a professional, organized, and welcoming workspace

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable starting conversations and engaging with customers
• Previous experience in retail, sales, customer service, hospitality, or outreach is a plus
• Ability to explain information clearly and build trust with customers
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn
• Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently
• Basic computer skills for customer enrollment and data entry

Salary: 19 - 24 USD Per hour
