The Project Engineer is part of the Endpoint Lifecycle Services team, with responsibility for managing the full lifecycle of endpoint technology projects from demand planning through fulfillment. This role is responsible for managing project costs, coordinating procurement and vendor activity, tracking delivery against schedule, and ensuring that hardware refresh and provisioning work is executed on time and within budget. The Project Engineer operates within a hybrid delivery model that includes both internal IT staff and a managed service provider. Must be effective at coordinating across both channels to maintain consistent service outcomes. This role is also an active contributor within the team’s agile delivery model, participating in PI Planning and sprint execution. The ideal candidate brings a track record of managing delivery execution in a complex, matrixed environment and is comfortable owning the cost, schedule, and stakeholder communication dimensions of endpoint lifecycle work.

Ability to work remotely
Full-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work remotely full time at a location other than a Lockheed Martin designated office/job site. Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings.
- Experience managing project costs, tracking actuals against plan, and coordinating procurement activity to keep delivery on schedule and within budget
- Proficiency with ServiceNow or comparable ITSM and asset management platforms
- Demonstrated ability to produce written deliverables such as executive briefings, business-facing communications, or project documentation
- Proficiency with Confluence or similar knowledge management and documentation tools

Desired Skills
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain delivery forecasts for hardware refresh and provisioning projects, identify schedule and cost risk, and communicate status to leadership and business stakeholders
- Experience tracking project performance metrics and reporting delivery status against defined service level objectives
- Experience coordinating across business areas, procurement, finance, and MSP partners to manage dependencies and drive delivery outcomes
- Experience operating within a hybrid IT delivery model that includes both internal staff and managed service provider (MSP) resources, with the ability to coordinate across boundaries to drive consistent service outcomes
- Previous experience in endpoint lifecycle services including computers, printers, or related hardware
- Familiarity with PI Planning, feature refinement, and story-level contribution within a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) delivery model
- Experience managing capital and expense budgets within a project or program context
