Job Connection LLC provides professional services to individuals with disabilities who face barriers to employment. We are seeking an Employment Consultant who is enthusiastic about connecting with the local community and willing to travel to surrounding areas.

The Role

As an Employment Consultant, you will play a vital role in the lives of our clients by locating and marketing prospective employers for the purpose of securing employment. You will advocate for the client during the employment search and provide ongoing support once they are employed to ensure a successful outcome.

Key Responsibilities

• Market our company and clients professionally with a confident, enthusiastic attitude
• Take clients to job searches and interviews, providing support throughout the process
• Assess client needs and deliver the necessary guidance to ensure a successful outcome
• Complete and review applications, network with prospective employers, and coach clients through interviews
• Provide ongoing job coaching, follow up services, and retention support
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress and activities
• Communicate effectively with clients, employers, coworkers, and supervisors

• The Right Mindset: Outgoing, personable, and not afraid to put yourself out there to make connections
• Communication: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build lasting professional relationships
• Independence: Ability to work autonomously, stay organized, and prioritize tasks effectively
• Tech Basics: Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and general software navigation
• Background: Experience in sales or customer service is a big plus, but a dedicated, eager to learn attitude is our top priority
