Job Description

Responsibilities

  • work in conjunction with our advertising and buying teams using our furniture specific web provider to highlight and enhance our product online.
  • Organize categories logically (living room, bedroom, etc.)
  • Knows how to write or optimize product descriptions
  • General understanding of how retail-centric websites function- platforms such as Shopify or Magent are good stepping stones
  • Understands basic backend website workflows (product imports, pricing rules, tagging)
  • Takes ownership of “site accuracy”
  • Stay current with industry trends in digital marketing, e-commerce innovations, and emerging technologies to recommend strategic improvements

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience managing large datasets
  • Familiarity with Excel and Google Suite is important
  • Basic familiarity with HTML/CSS (nothing extensive required)
  • Experience with image handling (resizing, naming, optimizing)
  • Understanding how and why integrations and tools connect to websites
  • Comfort with basic software systems and internet tools

Preferred

  • Any experience with CSV/product feed management, vendor integrations, and APIs is a plus
  • Stay current with industry trends in digital marketing, e-commerce innovations, and emerging technologies to recommend strategic improvements
  • Prone to being a proactive problem solver
