Job Description

About The Role
We're seeking a E‑Commerce Demand Planning Manager to drive demand forecasting, inventory management, and P&L performance across a fast-growing product portfolio. This role sits at the center of the business, partnering closely with Supply Chain, Finance, and Product teams to optimize performance, improve cash flow, and scale operations across key e‑commerce channels.
What You'll Do
  • Own a portion of the demand forecasting and inventory planning portfolio, balancing strong in-stock rates with minimal excess inventory
  • Manage category-level P&L, proactively identifying risks and opportunities to improve revenue, margin, and cash flow
  • Lead weekly and monthly planning cadences, aligning cross-functional partners on targets, assumptions, and execution
  • Partner with Supply Chain to manage inventory flow across Amazon, Walmart, and 3PL networks
  • Analyze sales trends, SKU productivity, and market dynamics to inform pricing, promotions, and assortment strategy
  • Support new product launches through forecast modeling, initial buys, and ramp planning
  • Identify and implement process improvements, tools, and reporting to increase forecast accuracy and visibility
  • Collaborate closely with Product and Sourcing/Production teams on cost optimization and SKU rationalization
What We're Looking For
  • 5+ years of experience in merchandising, demand planning, inventory planning, or retail planning
  • Demonstrated ability to manage or meaningfully influence P&L performance
  • Strong experience in e‑commerce; Amazon and/or Walmart experience is highly preferred
  • Comfortable operating cross-functionally in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to drive alignment and decision-making
Planning, Analytics & Tools
Demand Planning & Forecasting
  • Experience with demand planning platforms such as SAP APO/IBP, Oracle Demantra, Blue Yonder, Kinaxis Rapid Response, Anaplan, or o9
  • Hands-on experience with time-series forecasting techniques (e.g., ARIMA, exponential smoothing, causal models)
  • Strong understanding of forecast accuracy metrics (MAPE, WAPE, Bias, MAE)
Data & Analytics
  • Advanced Excel skills (Power Query, Power Pivot, complex formulas)
  • Working knowledge of statistical analysis and scenario modeling
Reporting & Visualization
  • Experience building dashboards in Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools
  • Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for cross-functional teams
Supply Chain & Process Improvement
  • Knowledge of S&OP / IBP processes and supporting systems
  • Understanding of inventory planning fundamentals, including lead times, service levels, and replenishment logic
  • Experience with scenario planning for promotions, new launches, and demand variability
  • Ability to enhance automated forecasting workflows and improve data quality and planning processes
Salary: $120,000
