Job Description

Responsibilities
  • Provide oversight and support for development and execution of communication, social marketing, awareness, and outreach activities to include refinement of communication strategy, development of materials, implementation plans, and scheduling and coordination of outreach activities
  • Track and monitor all project deliverables, ensuring compliance with contract performance standards
  • Directly supervise and manage project editors and graphic artists
  • Provide oversight for the team’s Products on Demand (POD) site
  • Work with team members to prepare deliverables, including project briefings, newsletter, study findings, reports, conclusions, and recommendations
Requirements
  • Master’s degree from an accredited college or university and 10 years’ experience in project management, of which a minimum of 5 years’ experience supporting social marketing, communications and outreach programs
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and 10 years’ experience in project management supporting social marketing, communications and outreach programs
  • Experience supporting teams responsible for content, communications or social outreach deliverables
  • Experience managing non-technical programs (this role is not focused on IT, systems or software delivery)
  • U.S. Citizen (required by contract)
  • Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, SharePoint, and Zoom
  • Strong work ethic with excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Self-starter with demonstrated leadership and team-building capabilities
  • Ability to interact professionally with clients
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • May require the ability to obtain a U.S. government security clearance
Preferred
  • Army/DoD experience is a plus
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
