Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Manage assigned publicity campaigns under the strategic direction of the SVP, Worldwide Publicity, while providing guidance to the Coordinator and Assistant across campaign priorities.
  • Liaison between the studio, talent and their representatives, maintaining proactive communication around campaign strategy, publicity opportunities and requests.
  • Support publicity campaigns from production through theatrical release and Home Entertainment, contributing to overall strategy, planning and execution.
  • Partner with the SVP, Worldwide Publicity and collaborate across Strategy, Digital, Media, Creative, Field & Events, Visual Communications and other internal teams and external agencies.
  • Manage talent and filmmaker publicity across assigned campaigns, including press opportunities, interviews, appearances, content capture, press days, junkets, premieres, festivals and press tours.
  • Strategically evaluate and communicate press opportunities to talent and representatives, securing participation and approvals while balancing talent considerations with overall campaign goals.
  • Pitch talent, filmmakers and film assets to broadcast, print, digital and other priority media, identifying opportunities that support strategy and positioning.
  • Oversee talent publicity logistics including availability, scheduling, travel, grooming, security and working with junior team members to ensure all is accurate.
  • Monitor campaign budgets and contribute to materials including timelines, talking points, production notes, talent memos and filmmaker presentation decks.
  • Oversee on-set press activities with Unit Publicists, coordinating requests for talent approvals.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of publicity, communications, marketing, or related experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working with talent, media, agencies, and cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
  • Flexible schedule with willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed.
  • This position requires five (5) days per week in office.
