In this role, you will lead the charge in advancing major gift fundraising and supporting vibrant, chapter-driven engagement in the Southwest region. You will manage a portfolio of 125–150 major donor accounts ($5,000+), utilizing structured moves management to cultivate, solicit, and steward individuals who share our commitment to protecting children. Working closely with volunteer-led chapters, executive leadership, and national events, you will help fuel our mission through impactful community connections.

What You'll Do:

  • Major Donor Portfolio Management: Qualify, cultivate, solicit, and steward a portfolio of 125–150 active accounts ($5,000+) with clear KPIs targeting acquisition, retention, and gift lift.

  • Moves Management: Implement comprehensive strategies, conduct face-to-face cultivation visits, and create tailored donor briefing materials.

  • Event Leadership: Plan and execute at least one annual referral-based acquisition event, support national Childhelp events in the region, and ensure robust post-event stewardship.

  • Chapter & Volunteer Partnerships: Collaborate closely with Arizona Chapter event committees on fundraising strategy, attend committee meetings, and host meaningful facility tours of the Childhelp Children’s Center of Arizona.

  • Data Integrity: Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of all donor activities, touchpoints, and metrics within the organizational database.

What You'll Bring:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) or an equivalent combination of relevant education, experience, and training.

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in major gifts, annual, and/or planned fundraising.

  • Preferred Background: Experience working within a national non-profit organization managing an annual budget of $5 million or more.

  • Key Competencies: Demonstrated success in retaining, lifting, and expanding major gift portfolios, paired with exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills.
