Job Summary

Own cross-channel paid media strategy across client portfolios, turning goals into investment priorities, KPIs, and testing plans that drive long-term growth.

  • Performance Analytics: Turn campaign data into clear, business-focused recommendations on where to invest, what to adjust, and what data remains incomplete.
  • Client Leadership: Influence senior client conversations with credible performance narratives and strategic next steps beyond raw reporting.
  • Team & Processes: Mentor specialists, raise QA standards, and streamline workflows and AI-assisted tooling where it adds real value.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Performance Media Leadership: Lead performance media strategy across a portfolio of client accounts, translating business goals into clear channel roles, investment priorities, KPIs, testing plans, and optimization frameworks.
  • Provide senior oversight of paid search, paid social, programmatic, audience activation, retargeting, and other performance-oriented media programs.
  • Evaluate and improve campaign architecture, including account structure, audience strategy, bidding approach, budget allocation, geographic strategy, creative testing, landing-page alignment, and measurement.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and scale without allowing short-term platform optimization to undermine long-term business growth.
  • Develop frameworks for allocating investment across platforms, markets, audiences, products, and stages of the customer journey.
  • Lead regular performance reviews and translate complex campaign data into clear decisions and recommendations.
  • Maintain a strong working understanding of current advertising platforms, automation capabilities, AI-assisted campaign products, attribution limitations, privacy changes, and measurement developments.
  • Client Leadership: Serve as a senior strategic voice in client meetings, performance reviews, planning sessions, and difficult conversations.
  • Explain performance clearly and credibly to both marketing specialists and senior executives.
  • Move discussions beyond campaign reporting toward business implications: what we learned, what should change, what deserves more investment, and where the data may be incomplete.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of relevant paid media or performance marketing experience, with meaningful experience in a media agency environment.
  • Demonstrated senior-level ownership of significant client media investments.
  • Deep expertise in at least two major performance disciplines—such as paid search, paid social, or programmatic—with sufficient cross-channel knowledge to lead integrated strategy.
  • Strong knowledge of major advertising and analytics platforms, which may include Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, Amazon or retail media platforms, DSPs, Google Analytics, Campaign Manager 360, and related measurement tools.
  • Familiarity and fluency with agency-grade tools and products, including custom bidding algorithms, multi-surface platforms such as Skai, and other enterprise media management systems.
  • Strong understanding of ad serving, tagging, and tracking frameworks, as well as dashboarding and reporting standards used in agency environments.
  • Experience designing and interpreting incrementality testing frameworks (e.g., geo tests, holdouts, lift studies), and working knowledge of advanced measurement approaches such as marketing mix modeling (MMM) and attribution methodologies.
  • Strong analytical instincts and the ability to identify the business meaning behind campaign data.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Comfort operating in a fast-moving environment where senior leaders remain close to clients and to the work.
  • Company recognizes value of experience across international campaigns; position favors global context.

Preferred

  • Experience working across multiple markets, languages, or international campaigns is strongly preferred.
  • Professional proficiency in a language other than English is highly valued.
