Job Summary

Own SEM execution by shaping strategy, leading a team, and delivering client-focused growth through data-driven optimization and budget stewardship across campaigns.

  • Strategic ownership: Set SEM direction, testing roadmap, and quarterly priorities for client programs.
  • Team and client leadership: Mentor analysts, oversee planning/optimization, and translate results into actionable recommendations.
  • Performance and budgeting: Monitor metrics, run A/B experiments, and steward budgets for growth and efficiency.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Growth strategy and leadership: Develop and communicate the SEM strategy, align with business objectives, stay updated on trends, and plan a robust testing roadmap.
  • Team leadership and campaign execution: Mentor SEM specialists, oversee planning, execution, and optimization to deliver results.
  • Client collaboration and reporting: Build strong client relationships, understand goals, and present strategic recommendations and performance updates.
  • Campaign architecture and optimization: Design SEM strategies including budget, keywords, structure; oversee ad copy and landing pages; apply advanced bidding.
  • Performance analysis and optimization: Monitor campaigns with analytics, identify optimization opportunities, run A/B tests and re-structuring.
  • Budget governance: Manage SEM budgets and provide recommendations based on performance; travel as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or related field.
  • 7+ years of SEM and digital marketing experience.
  • Demonstrated track record managing large-scale SEM campaigns.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills and proficiency with data analysis tools.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Deep knowledge of Google Ads, Bing Ads, and emerging trends.
  • Experience working with diverse clients and industries.
  • Role based in the US.
