Responsibilities

• Marketing Technology Strategy & Architecture Own the strategy, architecture, and performance of the marketing technology ecosystem, including Marketo administration, governance, and configuration. Build and maintain a rolling 12- to 18-month technology roadmap aligned to company growth goals and GTM strategy. Own vendor selection, contract negotiation, and renewal decisions for MarTech tools, including intent and enrichment platforms, AI data layers, and integration platform as a service (iPaaS) tools. Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and vendors and recommend the highest-return investments. Set up, manage, and troubleshoot integrations across the stack, including with Salesforce and other core business systems.
• Embedding AI Into Marketing Operations Lead the strategy and execution for embedding AI into the marketing technology stack and daily team workflows. Identify and operationalize AI use cases that make marketers and sales development representatives (SDRs) more effective and efficient. Own measurable outcomes tied to AI adoption, including cycle-time reduction and process automation, and report progress to leadership. Stay ahead of MarTech and AI trends to keep Arctic Wolf’s stack modern and competitive.
• Data, Lifecycle & Reporting Infrastructure Own database strategy, lifecycle-stage design, lead scoring, and routing architecture in partnership with the marketing technology and database management team. Own the data and reporting infrastructure that supports campaign attribution, sales-play performance, and pipeline reporting. Establish data governance and compliance practices (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) that maintain accuracy and consistency across marketing systems. Ensure the technology stack is configured for scale, security, compliance, and operational excellence.
• Campaign Operations Leadership & Execution Excellence Own the end-to-end campaign operations model across email, webinar (ON24), direct mail (Sendoso), content syndication, and list management, in partnership with the Campaigns and Content team. Own the intake model, SLAs, prioritization, and operating cadence that campaign requests move through, including email rules of engagement. Ensure consistent build quality, tracking, and attribution setup in Marketo and Salesforce across the NAM, EMEA, and APAC regions and sales plays. Continuously identify opportunities to standardize and automate recurring campaign work.
• Marketing Investment Planning & Budget Governance Partner with the Revenue and Growth Leadership Team to develop the annual marketing budget, aligning spend with strategic growth priorities and pipeline targets. Implement processes and controls to track, approve, and reconcile spend, ensuring budget discipline, transparency, and alignment with corporate finance practices. Own budget and MDF administration for the team, including AWS Partner Funding requests, claims, and invoicing.
• People Leadership & Team Development Lead and develop a distributed team spanning marketing technology, database management, email and nurture strategy, and campaign operations. Set clear priorities, SLAs, operating rhythms, and development plans, including a generalist coverage model so aligned stakeholders never lose a point of contact. Build a culture of technical rigor, execution excellence, and continuous improvement.
• Cross-Functional Partnership Serve as the primary execution partner to Acquisition Marketing, Partner Marketing, Customer Marketing, and demand generation for their campaign programs. Serve as the primary marketing partner to Business Applications and IT, resolving dependencies on routing, scoring, and lifecycle triggers. Partner with the Senior Director, Campaigns and Content on campaign calendar, briefs, and content activation. Partner with Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, and Finance on shared infrastructure, budget, and vendor decisions. Represent marketing technology and campaign operations priorities in Growth Services and Operations leadership planning.
• Who You Are You are a hands-on technical leader who understands marketing technology architecture at a deep level, and you can run a high-volume campaign execution engine at the same time. You see AI as a practical tool for reducing manual work, not a buzzword, and you can identify where it will actually move the needle. You build scalable processes, SLAs, and governance rather than absorbing chaos into your own schedule. You can manage a distributed, regionally diverse team across both technology and execution disciplines and keep them focused on outcomes, not just tickets. You don’t need to own the pipeline number to care about it — you measure yourself by how well you deliver for the teams who do. You are comfortable owning a roadmap, a budget, and a vendor negotiation, and just as comfortable being hands-on in the platform or the campaign build when needed.
• Minimum Qualifications 10+ years of experience in marketing technology, marketing operations, campaign operations, or demand generation, including 3+ years of people leadership. Hands-on experience with Marketo (or a comparable marketing automation platform) administration and Salesforce. Experience building and owning a marketing technology roadmap, including vendor evaluation, integration management, and stack governance. Experience managing multi-channel campaign execution, such as email, webinar, and direct mail, at scale. Experience identifying and operationalizing AI or automation use cases within marketing or revenue operations workflows. Experience managing distributed or global teams. Strong business acumen with the ability to connect marketing technology and campaign investments to revenue outcomes.
• Travel Requirements Typically 10% or less of business travel.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in marketing technology, marketing operations, campaign operations, or demand generation, including 3+ years of people leadership.
• Hands-on experience with Marketo (or a comparable marketing automation platform) administration and Salesforce.
• Experience building and owning a marketing technology roadmap, including vendor evaluation, integration management, and stack governance.
• Experience managing multi-channel campaign execution, such as email, webinar, and direct mail, at scale.
• Experience identifying and operationalizing AI or automation use cases within marketing or revenue operations workflows.
• Experience managing distributed or global teams.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to connect marketing technology and campaign investments to revenue outcomes.

Preferred

• Experience in cybersecurity, software as a service (SaaS), or another complex business-to-business (B2B) industry.
• Experience managing a team spanning multiple regions, such as NAM, EMEA, and APAC.
• Marketo certification or an equivalent platform certification.
• Experience with intent or data enrichment tooling, such as 6sense, ZoomInfo, or Clay.
• Experience administering a marketing budget or MDF program.
