  • Collaborate with Sales on MQL definitions and lead quality
  • Own content governance, campaigns, and positioning

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Own pipeline coverage for Sales, building and running the account-based marketing engine that selects, tiers, and warms the accounts Sales most needs to win.
  • Partner directly with Sales leadership on MQL definitions, routing, and lead quality, sitting in on sales calls to keep marketing accountable to pipeline that actually converts.
  • Set and enforce the bar for content and campaigns that are specific, credible, and convert without ever reading as spam, personally editing high-stakes assets before they ship.
  • Build a repeatable campaign process from brief through measurement, sequencing outreach so accounts warm up rather than get blasted, and retiring plays that stop producing pipeline.
  • Lead the quarterly and annual planning process, aligning product launches, campaigns, and budget to revenue goals, and keep every launch backed by a go-to-market plan well ahead of ship date.
  • Own marketing operations, reporting, and the intent and signal data stack, keeping scoring, routing, and attribution current and turning buying signals into triggered account plays.
  • Assess and rebuild the marketing team around the account-based motion, hiring and coaching toward the standard this seat demands.
  • Own positioning and competitive narrative for the product portfolio, equipping Sales with battlecards and proof points and feeding market insight back to Product.

Requirements

  • 8+ years in B2B marketing with 3+ years of direct hiring, coaching, and performance authority over a marketing team.
  • Personal accountability for a marketing-sourced pipeline or revenue target in a prior role, with the ability to speak to the number and the result.
  • Has built and run an account-based marketing program end to end, from account selection through measured pipeline outcomes.
  • A portfolio of marketing content you personally wrote or edited (ad copy, landing pages, email sequences, or campaign narratives), with results to show for it.
  • Hands-on experience with marketing automation (HubSpot or comparable) integrated with Salesforce for scoring, routing, and attribution.
  • Experience leading at least two full product go-to-market launches, from positioning and sales enablement through post-launch measurement.
  • Preferred: signal/intent data platform experience (6sense, Demandbase, Clearbit); a payments or B2B SaaS background; partner/ISV channel marketing; a marketing, business, or related degree (strong track record substitutes).
