Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Position the HII brand as the trusted, differentiated leader in defense technology to support sustained growth.
  • Elevate brand recognition and credibility across defense stakeholders.
  • Differentiate our technology voice by simplifying and sharpening our value proposition.
  • Develop and execute integrated marketing strategies aligned with business and product priorities.
  • Lead multi‑channel campaigns that drive visibility, engagement, and demand.
  • Oversee creative direction for brand storytelling, advertising, and digital experiences.
  • Partner with product, BD, and strategy teams to align marketing with market needs.
  • Lead digital marketing strategy including web, content ecosystems, SEO/SEM, and digital advertising.
  • Use analytics to measure and optimize performance across campaigns and channels.
  • Develop executive thought‑leadership programs and support speaking, awards, and industry visibility.
  • Identify brand‑building opportunities across events and partnerships.
  • Lead a high‑performing marketing team across brand, digital, and content disciplines.
  • Establish brand and content governance to ensure consistency and compliance.
  • Collaborate with Corporate Communications on messaging and media alignment.

Requirements

  • 10 years relevant progressive experience with Bachelors in related field; 8 years relevant progressive experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 14 years relevant progressive experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience leading marketing, brand, or strategic communications programs.
  • Proven ability to build integrated marketing strategies and compelling narratives.
  • Strong digital, editorial, and storytelling skills.
  • Experience with analytics and measuring marketing effectiveness.
  • Understanding of defense, national security, or advanced technology markets.
  • Collaborative, proactive, and results‑driven leadership style.
