Job Summary

Drive marketing and communications leadership to elevate Team OKC brand, engage fans and communities, and drive revenue through strategic campaigns.

  • Must-have: Eight to twelve years of progressive marketing experience and five to six years of leadership in events/sports.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • lead our go-to-market plans and marketing campaign initiatives.
  • developing and executing comprehensive marketing and communications strategies that elevate brand visibility, engage diverse audiences, and drive revenue growth.
  • exceptional storyteller with strong project management skills.
  • collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to bring the Team OKC brand to life across multiple platforms.
  • play a key role in building a legacy for the Olympic and Paralympic movement by creating meaningful connections with fans, athletes and the community.

Requirements

  • Eight to twelve years of progressive marketing experience required.
  • Five to six years of leadership experience, ideally within events, sports, or high-profile campaign environments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Asana, Smartsheet, and related marketing tools.
  • Demonstrates exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven self-starter with the ability to perform successfully under general supervision within a structured organization.
  • Maintains a professional, diplomatic demeanor with strong relationship-building skills.
  • Travel independently with reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.

  • Ability to lift and carry up to thirty pounds.

Preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field preferred.
  • Familiarity with Olympic content, sustainability initiatives, and community impact programming preferred.
