Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Designs, builds, and owns ACE's prospective-student lifecycle system across inquiry, application, admission, enrollment, re-inquiry, alumni and long-term nurture stages.
  • Architects, configures, and continuously improves a prioritized portfolio of always-on, triggered, and term-based automated journeys that guide prospective students toward the next best action.
  • Owns measurable improvement in email assisted inquiry-to-application, application-to-enrollment, and overall inquiry-to-enrollment conversion, with appropriate consideration for program, audience, source, geography, and time-to-convert.
  • Architects and implements a prioritized portfolio of always-on, triggered, and term-based journeys that guide prospective students toward the next best action.
  • Creates differentiated nurture and re-engagement strategies for high-intent prospects, stalled applicants, no-contact leads, future-term prospects, and leads who require longer consideration cycles.
  • Establishes a testing roadmap across messaging, cadence, channel, offer, creative, call to action, and enrollment handoff; scale proven approaches and stop low-value activity.
  • Leads segmentation and personalization using behavioral, demographic, program-interest, funnel-stage, engagement, and marketing-source data.
  • Partners with paid media and analytics teams to activate first-party audiences, suppress converted or ineligible prospects, and create a more connected acquisition and nurture experience.
  • Defines lifecycle performance standards, dashboards, and operating reviews that connect channel engagement to applications, enrollments, cost per enrollment, and incremental value.
  • Owns the hands-on design, configuration, and continuous improvement of marketing automation architecture, including workflows, triggers, decision logic, data dependencies, integrations, campaign governance, documentation, quality assurance, deliverability, and data hygiene in partnership with Technology and CRM owners.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, analytics, or a related field.
  • 7 or more years of progressive experience in lifecycle, CRM, or conversion marketing, including at least 3 years of hands-on experience, owning, designing and building complex email and SMS automations.
  • Deep, hands-on expertise building lifecycle automations, including journey configuration, segmentation, trigger and decision logic, branching, personalization, testing, QA, troubleshooting, and channel orchestration across email and SMS.
  • Demonstrated success improving conversion across a multi-step customer journey with long or variable consideration cycles; higher education or another lead-to-sales environment is strongly preferred.
  • Advanced working knowledge of enterprise CRM and marketing automation platforms, with the ability to translate strategy into configured workflows and diagnose execution issues directly; experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Marketo, Click Dimensions (Click) or comparable tools is preferred.
  • Advanced experience designing automated journeys, segmentation, trigger logic, personalization, experimentation, and channel orchestration across email and SMS.
  • Strong analytical judgment and the ability to move beyond channel metrics to evaluate cohorts, funnel progression, incrementality, cost efficiency, and business outcomes.
  • Demonstrated ability to set lifecycle strategy, visualize the end-to-end journey, prioritize a roadmap, and translate it into clear technical requirements, campaign briefs, measurement plans, and operating processes while remaining hands-on enough to identify and resolve execution issues.
  • Strong stakeholder leadership and communication skills, including a record of owning senior cross-functional relationships, creating clarity across competing priorities, establishing standards, and influencing Marketing, Enrollment, Technology, Analytics, and executive leadership without relying on direct authority.
  • Working knowledge of CRM and marketing automation platforms; experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Marketo, or comparable enterprise tools is preferred.
