About the Job

As a Director, Learning Strategy, you will serve as a key partner for the department and clients across multiple brands, overseeing Learning Strategy processes and presentations. You'll lead efforts in literature and insight searches, market research insight reports, learning 101 development processes and presentations, and workshop planning. You'll build and maintain strong internal stakeholder and senior-level client relationships, develop strategic points of view on trending topics, and promote learning strategy capabilities while embodying an EDI Mindset.

A Day in the Life

  • Lead the development of Learning Design Guidelines tailored to specific brand audiences.
  • Design and execute research plans, analyzing findings to inform strategic recommendations.
  • Collaborate with creative teams to integrate learning design guidelines into content creation.
  • Develop and evaluate tactics to ensure audience engagement and understanding of communications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop needs-based tactical plans and strategic recommendations.
  • Lead new business pitch processes, learning 101s, and internal/external workshops, showcasing learning strategy expertise.
  • Supervise and mentor Learning Strategists, promoting department capabilities and fostering strong relationships.
  • Present findings confidently, maintaining productive relationships with internal teams, client partners, and senior clients.

What You Will Need

  • Bachelor's degree in public health or health studies (master's preferred).
  • Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) or CHES-eligibility.
  • 8+ years of experience in Public Health, Health Promotion or comparable studies.
  • 5+ years of agency experience (Public Health, Health Promotion or comparable).
  • Proficiency in health literacy, learning preferences and behavioral techniques.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent communication, creativity and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strategic thinking, collaborative mindset and storytelling skills.

The salary range for this position is noted within this job posting. Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position; market considerations; budgetary considerations;tenure and standing with the company (applicable to current employees); as well as the employee’s/applicant’s background, pertinent experience, and qualifications.

$130,000 - $180,000 annually.
