Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a highly skilled team
  • Provide strategic communications counsel to the Company’s Executive Leadership Team
  • Develop strategic plans that protect and strengthen the Bristow brand globally
  • Work across the organization to understand issues and mitigate risks – internally and externally
  • Work with commercial teams to understand customer needs and develop marketing materials that highlight the Company’s strength and solutions relevant to solving customer problems
  • Work as part of a team to help manage communications around employee relations to help inform various employee groups including multiple organized groups of employees (unions) globally
  • Work with local teams around the globe to ensure messages are relevant and/or tailored for local use while also aligned with the global corporate narrative internally and externally
  • Liaise with the CFO and others in the Finance and Investor Relations functions to ensure message alignment across audiences
  • Oversee Company’s social media presence (LinkedIn, Facebook, X, Instagram)
  • Prepare speeches, talking points, key messages, etc. for various uses, including preparing executives for various internal and external engagements
  • Set performance targets and KPI’s for all communications processes and personnel
  • Monitor media and social media to understand industry issues and position the company as the global leader and executives as thought leaders in the industry
  • Oversee and manage various creative projects including corporate videos, marketing materials, etc.
  • Oversee and manage all internal communications including the Company intranet Portal, town halls, internal podcast, etc.
  • Draft, edit, coordinate Company and partner news releases following the established processes
  • Lead the Company’s Crisis Communications team during incidents and events

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or related field
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in global communications and/or public relations
  • Five years of experience leading a team
  • Experience in the energy or aviation industry, direct or ancillary experience preferred
  • Experience leading communications in a highly regulated industry
  • Extensive experience in internal and external communications
  • Proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Detail oriented with strong verbal, written and presentation skills at all levels
