Job Summary

Own the cross‑functional communications engine for Vantive, coordinating global and regional narratives that support therapy areas, financial storytelling, and enterprise priorities while building crisis readiness and ethical patient storytelling.

  • Global Communications: Align external and internal messaging with enterprise strategy and therapy-area priorities across chronic, acute, and digital lines.
  • Crisis & Issues: Lead scenario planning, messaging frameworks, and executive guidance to protect reputation during emerging issues.
  • Corporate Financial & Patient Awareness: Shape the corporate narrative with Finance and Legal, and scale therapy awareness through human-centered patient stories.

Job Description

Responsibilities
  • Lead external and internal communications for Vantive’s core business lines, ensuring alignment with enterprise strategy and therapy-area priorities.
  • Partner with global commercial leaders to craft narratives differentiating Vantive commercially and clinically across markets.
  • Build integrated communications plans that support product launches, lifecycle milestones, digital initiatives, and partnerships.
  • Lead global issues and crisis communications program, developing scenario plans and response protocols.
  • Advise senior leadership during emerging issues and strengthen enterprise readiness with Legal, Quality, Regulatory, and Corporate Affairs.
  • Shape corporate financial communications by coordinating with Finance and Legal on strategic messaging, Q&A, and disclosures.
  • Collaborate with Corporate Affairs and Global Strategic Marketing to scale therapy awareness and human-centered patient storytelling programs.
  • Ensure alignment with legal, medical, regulatory, and privacy requirements.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in corporate communications, preferably in healthcare, life sciences, medical technology, or a related regulated environment.
  • Strong blend of agency and inhouse experience is highly preferred.
  • Proven success in corporate financial communications, including public company norms, earnings cycles, and disclosure considerations.
  • Excellence in media relations, crisis management, and issues communications.
  • Experience supporting commercial communications across multiple therapy areas or products, ideally global in scope.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
Preferred
  • Strong blend of agency and inhouse experience is highly preferred.
  • Experience leveraging AI tools in content development, analytics, workflows, or audience engagement is a plus.
