Job Description
Responsibilities
- Develop pitch strategies and story angles that generate meaningful coverage across healthcare trade, business, and regional and national consumer media
- Identify news cycles, policy developments, and white-space opportunities to insert WeShare Health into relevant conversations
- Write and manage content across blogs, LinkedIn, executive bylines, and internal communications
- Support crisis communications planning and response
- Activate and maintain PR infrastructure: editorial calendars, media databases, coverage tracking, messaging frameworks, and agency management protocols
- Co-create KPIs and reporting that connect coverage, share of voice, and sentiment to business impact
Requirements
- 6+ years of progressive PR or communications experience
- Track record of securing earned media in national, regional, and trade publications
- Strong writing skills, with the ability to mirror different executive voices
- Experience managing PR agencies or consultants
- Ability to work effectively in a matrixed environment without direct authority
- Builder's mindset and a positive, team-player orientation
Preferred
- Experience with Reddit, LinkedIn or community-platform engagement
- Experience in digital health or health insurance
