Job Description

The Director of Business Development – DSP Partnerships will lead strategic platform relationships across the programmatic ecosystem.
This role is focused on building and scaling partnerships with major demand-side platforms. You will own the commercial strategy and expansion of these relationships, positioning Protected by Mediaocean as a preferred verification solution within DSP buying environments. This is a senior, externally facing role with direct impact on product adoption, revenue growth, and market positioning.
What You Will Do
Partnership Strategy & Ownership
  • Own the end-to-end lifecycle of DSP partnerships, including strategy, commercial structure, technical integration, launch, adoption, and expansion.
  • Develop and execute go-to-market plans that scale verification adoption through platform-level integrations and enablement.
Platform Expansion
  • Build and expand strategic relationships with leading buying platforms, including The Trade Desk, Google DV360, Amazon DSP, and others.
  • Drive preferred or default verification placements within buying workflows where applicable.
Strategic Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain senior-level relationships with product, partnerships, and platform leadership teams.
  • Act as a trusted partner, aligning Protected’s capabilities with platform priorities, policies, and roadmap considerations.
Revenue & Adoption Growth
  • Drive measurable revenue and adoption through integrations, platform enablement, and scaled distribution.
  • Define and track success metrics tied to integration depth, usage, and commercial impact.
Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Legal, and Operations to translate platform requirements into scalable technical and commercial solutions.
  • Ensure a smooth transition from partnership agreement to implementation and launch.
Who you are:
  • 7+ years of experience in AdTech business development, platform partnerships, or strategic alliances.
  • Deep understanding of the DSP ecosystem, including auction mechanics, bid shading, programmatic supply paths, and verification integrations.
  • Proven experience working directly with DSP product, partnerships, or platform teams.
  • Strong track record negotiating complex commercial and technical partnerships.
  • Executive-level communication and presentation skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
