Role Description
This is a remote contract role for a Director of Merchandising - E-Commerce. The individual will oversee the curation and management of product offerings, analyze sales performance and consumer trends, collaborate with businesses to enhance product strategy, and ensure a seamless customer shopping experience. The role requires working closely with cross-functional teams to optimize product categories, design sales initiatives, and develop strategies for driving revenue growth through ethical and sustainable commerce practices.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Commerce, with experience in product curation and e-commerce merchandising
- Strong Analytical Skills, including the ability to assess sales performance and interpret consumer trends
- Effective Communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams and vendor partnerships
- Customer Service and Sales expertise, with a focus on delivering a superior customer experience and driving revenue
- Experience in sustainable or ethical products, including Whole Foods, Trader Joe's, Thrive Market, Grove, Honest, Hive marketplaces is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, and mission-driven environment
