SUMMARY


The WorkPlace is seeking a Digital Media Coordinator to support and optimize our organization's digital marketing efforts. Duties for the Digital Media Coordinator will include developing digital marketing materials, sourcing and creating images and artwork, updating online assets, tracking campaign progress, and handling general digital marketing activities. Your creative thinking skills and strategies will be essential to driving our digital narrative, enhancing our organization's image, improving digital communication with job seekers, and encouraging collaboration through effective campaigns. Ideal candidates for this role should be creative and innovative, multimedia-savvy, well-organized, and excellent writers and communicators. Ultimately, the Digital Media Coordinator should have a firm grasp of the various digital touchpoints, enhance the user experience, and deliver on digital objectives.


The goal of the position is to support and promote The WorkPlace and its related programs while reinforcing its mission. This role will be responsible for managing all of The WorkPlace’s social media activities across multiple platforms. The position will also update and develop content for multiple websites. Design and provide flyers, brochures, and logos as needed. The position will take photos and videos at company events and meetings as needed.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:


  • Day-to-day management of various social media platforms, including posting content and engaging the social communities.

  • Updating and managing websites in the WorkPlace’s portfolio of sites.

  • Support email marketing activities using Constant Contact and other email platforms.

  • Create custom images, videos, and content specifically for the social media platforms.

  • Report week-to-week analytics on each channel’s top-performing posts, top tweets, etc.

  • Superior attention to detail and scrupulous mindset, especially for social copywriting, editing, and brand governance.

  • Responsible for successfully planning, developing, and executing on communication strategies and messaging that support the business objectives of The WorkPlace. This will involve drafting and delivering communications that inform, educate, align, and engage leaders, managers, and employees.

  • Develop new methods of leveraging social media to engage targeted audiences.

  • Work with internal partners to develop engaging, audience-specific content using a variety of communication tools, such as video, podcasts, articles, and webcasts.

  • Responsible for managing external vendor relationships in support of marketing and communications.

  • Responsible for planning, creating, and managing AI-driven video content that aligns with our brand’s voice and strategy.

  • Other duties as assigned.

  • SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES


    Responsible for own work and not required to direct or supervise other personnel, but may occasionally instruct or show another employee how to perform the work.


    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.

    • Familiarity with SEO, analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, social media insights), and data-driven decision-making.

    • Prior working experience with Microsoft Office 365 Suite

    • Ability to think critically, innovatively, and proactively

    • Excellent verbal and written communication

    • Ability to manage multiple project timelines simultaneously

    • Strong understanding of current social media platforms

    • Utilization of Photoshop and Premiere Pro skills

    • Proficiency with AI-driven video creation and editing tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Express, Adobe Premiere, CapCut, Lumen5).

    • Familiarity with Google Analytics

    • Strong understanding of WordPress content management system

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE


    Bachelor’s degree in marketing/communication; or 1-2 years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.


    COMPUTER SKILLS


    Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, current social media platforms, and online content management systems (CMS), including WordPress and Constant Contact. Graphic design skills and competency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Premiere Pro, InDesign) preferred.
