Job Summary
Own the student-life social content stream on Instagram, turning campus stories into engaging, shareable content and coordinating with campus partners to build a holistic narrative across reels, stories, and graphics.
- Instagram content ownership: create tours, student interviews, campus highlights, and takeovers.
- Student storytelling: develop engaging, trend-driven posts and polls that resonate with the student body.
- Cross-team collaboration: work with campus departments to align on campus-life storytelling and visual assets.
Job Description
Responsibilities
- Appear in Instagram Reel videos giving tours, interviewing students, and highlighting campus.
- Create engaging content that speaks to students (challenges, polls, trends).
- Conduct Instagram Story takeovers to showcase student life and campus events.
- Collaborate with campus departments to provide a holistic view of campus life.
- Use Canva to create graphics for social posts.
- Participate in monthly content brainstorming and other meetings as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Sophomore, junior, senior, or graduate student of any major.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Must be comfortable with public speaking and appearing on camera or asking others to appear in content.
- Experience managing social media channels for internship, job, or campus club preferred but not required.
