Job Summary

Own multi-channel digital advertising and data integration for a Smithsonian program, driving platform selection, spend allocation, and partner coordination while building targeted campaigns, coordinating creative, and aligning with brand objectives.

  • Performance Marketing Ownership: Manage display, search, and DSP campaigns across Viant, Facebook, Google, and Amazon with data vendors and quarterly budgets.
  • Audience & Creative Execution: Lead creative briefings with Strategy Group, target House prospects, and coordinate direct mail and external audiences for prospecting and awareness.
  • Measurement & Tech Integration: Configure tags, track in Google Analytics and the SA CRM, and coordinate lead capture tools and dashboards for sales and lead gen analysis.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Own digital ads and performance tracking across display, SEM, and audience targeting on platforms like Viant DSP, Facebook, Amazon ads, and Google Ads; manage platform selection, data-modeling vendors, quarterly spend, and insertion orders for approval.
  • Coordinate ad creative with Marketing Strategy Group and creative team; build campaigns targeting relevant customer profiles, promote program inventory, and license external audiences for prospecting and brand awareness.
  • Set campaign strategies in performance tools, monitor metrics, configure website/shopping cart tags for integration, and capture sales data in Google Analytics and the SA CRM.
  • Manage lead gen tools and integrations with IT to Tessitura; configure lead capture to support ad campaigns, emails, and source tracking.
  • Assess current marketing capabilities and draft a brand marketing infrastructure plan with required capabilities, tactics, and funding scenarios.
  • Assist the Associate Director of Advancement with written recommendations, plans, and proposals aligned to brand strategy and stakeholder needs.
  • Support funding efforts by identifying external sponsors and staying current with brand marketing trends across media platforms.
  • Identify House Prospect names for direct mail campaigns and coordinate with co-op vendors for model-driven acquisition prospects.
  • Coordinate marketing data collection in the CRM, work with IT on customer profile flags and scores, and prepare marketing analytics dashboards for sales and lead generation.
  • Collaborate on order attribution match-back processes and ensure data-driven insights across marketing activities.
