  • Lead content calendars and multi-channel publishing
  • Oversee video production, writing, and website updates

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Social Media and Content Strategy: Develop and manage a consistent monthly and quarterly content calendar. Create and publish content for LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and other appropriate platforms. Turn financial-planning concepts into educational, approachable, and engaging content. Monitor engagement, respond appropriately to comments, and help strengthen our online community. Identify relevant financial, retirement, business, community, and lifestyle topics for future content. Maintain a consistent brand voice across all digital channels.
  • Video Production: Plan, film, edit, and publish short-form and long-form videos. Produce educational videos, founder messages, event recaps, client updates, and social-media clips. Create scripts, storyboards, captions, thumbnails, and supporting graphics. Manage basic lighting, sound, camera setup, and post-production. Repurpose longer videos into shorter pieces for social media, email, and the website.
  • Website Management: Maintain and update the Stoic Wealth Advisors website. Create and revise pages, articles, team biographies, landing pages, forms, and calls to action. Improve the website’s appearance, functionality, search visibility, and visitor experience. Coordinate with outside website, technology, or compliance providers when necessary. Monitor website traffic, form submissions, and other conversion activity. Experience with WordPress is strongly preferred.
  • Writing and Email Marketing: Write social-media posts, website copy, newsletters, articles, video scripts, event invitations, and marketing emails. Create educational content that reflects the firm’s philosophy and professional standards. Help communicate sophisticated financial topics in clear, conversational language. Maintain an organized email-marketing calendar. Review content carefully for accuracy, grammar, brand consistency, and required disclosures.
  • Brand and Creative Support: Create branded graphics, presentations, handouts, event materials, and digital advertisements. Help maintain consistent visual standards across all firm communications. Support the promotion of client Coffee Talks, community events, charitable activities, seminars, and other firm initiatives. Maintain an organized library of photographs, video footage, logos, templates, and marketing assets. Coordinate with photographers, videographers, printers, designers, and other outside vendors when needed.
  • Analytics and Performance: Track website traffic, email performance, social-media engagement, video views, and prospective-client inquiries. Prepare a concise monthly marketing performance report. Recommend improvements based on measurable results rather than vanity metrics alone. Help establish a reliable process for identifying how prospective clients discover the firm. Test new content formats, campaigns, and distribution strategies.
  • Financial-Services Compliance: Submit public-facing materials through the firm’s required review and approval process. Maintain organized records of approved content and supporting materials. Learn and follow applicable financial-services advertising and communication standards. Work collaboratively with the firm’s compliance resources while still bringing creativity and fresh ideas to the role. The employee will not be expected to independently interpret securities regulations or provide financial advice. Training will be provided regarding the firm’s marketing-review procedures.
