Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Create and schedule social media content that tells the story of our producers and products
  • Support online marketing campaigns across email, social, and paid channels
  • Optimize Shopify product pages and Amazon listings for search, clarity, and conversion
  • Monitor web and channel analytics, track campaign performance, and prepare short, decision-ready reports
  • Keep messaging consistent across the website, social channels, email, and marketplace listings
  • Handle light copy editing and keep our photo, copy, and asset library organized
  • Help maintain accurate product content as new SKUs arrive from Japan

Requirements

  • Experience in social media and online marketing for consumer brands or ecommerce
  • Foundational digital marketing skills, including campaign support and content coordination
  • Comfort with web analytics tools for tracking traffic, engagement, and basic performance metrics
  • Strong written communication and the ability to collaborate well remotely
  • Familiarity with ecommerce platforms (Shopify a plus) and basic SEO for product pages and blog content
  • Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage several tasks independently
  • Genuine interest in Japanese food, culture, or the specialty food market — highly valued
  • Relevant coursework, certifications, or hands-on experience in Japanese, marketing, communications, or a related field

Preferred

  • Japanese language ability, Amazon Seller Central experience, content creation, video editing, and other experience with a DTC food or beverage brand.
