Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Intelligence Program Management : Lead social listening, media monitoring, and digital intelligence programs across a portfolio of client accounts, ensuring high-quality insights and timely deliverables.
  • Measurement & Strategic Insights : Design listening and measurement frameworks tailored to client objectives, analyze cross-channel performance, and translate intelligence into actionable recommendations that inform communications and campaign strategy.
  • Reporting & Analytics: Build executive-ready dashboards, automated alerts, and standardized reporting frameworks while tracking KPIs and identifying optimization opportunities across paid, earned, owned, social, and search channels.
  • Platform & Technology Management: Manage social listening, media monitoring, SEO, and analytics platforms across client accounts, evaluate new intelligence tools and data sources, and apply emerging AI and analytics technologies to enhance client outcomes.
  • Client Partnership : Build strong client relationships by presenting insights, managing expectations around deliverables and timelines, and recommending strategic responses based on intelligence findings.
  • Team Collaboration & Development: Partner with Communications teams to integrate earned media monitoring with digital intelligence efforts, provide day-to-day guidance and mentorship to Digital and Intelligence Associates, and collaborate with senior leadership to continuously improve Marathon's intelligence offerings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, marketing, journalism, political science, data analytics, or a related field; equivalent experience considered.
  • 5–7 years of experience in digital intelligence, social listening, analytics, communications, public affairs, marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience leading social listening, media monitoring, competitive intelligence, and digital analytics programs for multiple client accounts.
  • Experience designing measurement frameworks and translating qualitative and quantitative data into strategic recommendations for clients.
  • Experience building executive dashboards, automated reporting, and performance summaries using visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker Studio (Google Data Studio).
  • Experience with media monitoring, social listening, and analytics platforms such as Brandwatch, Meltwater, Talkwalker, Cision, Sprinklr, Signal AI, or similar technologies.
  • Experience with SEO strategy, keyword research, search trend analysis, and SEO platforms such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Search Console, Moz, or similar tools.
  • Understands how search behavior, audience insights, competitive intelligence, and social listening inform integrated communications, reputation management, and content strategy.
  • Experience leveraging AI-powered analytics, automation, and emerging intelligence technologies to improve reporting and strategic insights.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple client engagements, prioritize competing deadlines, and maintain high-quality deliverables.
