Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Digital Content Operations Specialist/ Quality Assurance Coordinator to support the quality, accuracy, and consistency of a high-volume digital events and web content environment. This role will be responsible for reviewing event listings, web pages, and related digital content before and after publication to ensure information is accurate, complete, consistent, functional, and easy for users to understand. The Quality Assurance Coordinator will work closely with content owners, marketing, product, UX, technology, and other internal stakeholders to identify issues, coordinate corrections, and help maintain high standards across a large volume of digital content. This is not a traditional software QA or engineering/testing position. The focus is primarily on digital content quality assurance, website content review, CMS-based content operations, and workflow coordination. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, comfortable working with repetitive and high-volume content, technologically savvy, and able to communicate clearly when issues need to be corrected. This individual should also be collaborative, adaptable, receptive to feedback, and comfortable learning new systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities

Digital Content & Event Quality Assurance

  • Review event listings, web pages, and other digital content for accuracy, clarity, completeness, and consistency.
  • Validate event details including dates, times, time zones, registration links, titles, descriptions, teasers, imagery, metadata, and other content elements.
  • Ensure information presented across digital channels is accurate and provides a clear and consistent user experience.
  • Review content for grammatical, formatting, visual, and informational inconsistencies.
  • Confirm that titles, teasers, and descriptions are appropriate for their intended placements rather than simply duplicating the same content across fields.
  • Verify that imagery appropriately reflects the topic or purpose of the associated event or content.
  • Identify broken or incorrect links and ensure registration and other calls to action function properly.

Pre-Publish & Post-Publish QA

  • Conduct quality assurance reviews before digital content is published.
  • Perform post-publication reviews to ensure content displays and functions as expected.
  • Review content across desktop, mobile, and tablet experiences when appropriate.
  • Identify issues involving content display, functionality, broken links, formatting, layout, or confusing information.
  • Document identified issues and communicate required corrections to appropriate content owners.

High-Volume Content Review

  • Support a fast-moving, high-volume digital event publishing environment.
  • Review a significant number of event listings each week while maintaining strong accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Manage multiple assignments and priorities simultaneously while meeting established deadlines.
  • Follow consistent QA checklists and processes while applying judgment when unusual issues arise.
  • Maintain quality and accuracy even when performing recurring or highly detailed review work.

CMS & Digital Content Management

  • Work within content management systems to review and update digital content.
  • Assist with routine content updates, including featured event content and other website elements.
  • Navigate multiple digital platforms and systems to validate content and resolve discrepancies.
  • Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) is highly preferred but not required.
  • Candidates with experience using other enterprise content management systems are encouraged to apply.

Workflow & Process Coordination

  • Track QA assignments, issues, corrections, and follow-up activities.
  • Use workflow and project-management tools such as Airtable, Jira, or similar platforms to monitor work.
  • Follow up with content owners when updates or corrections are required.
  • Help ensure content continues moving through the publishing workflow without unnecessary delays.
  • Coordinate across teams to resolve issues efficiently and prevent recurring errors.

Cross-System Validation

  • Compare information across content management systems, event platforms, and related digital tools.
  • Identify inconsistencies between systems and flag discrepancies for correction.
  • Validate that event details are accurately represented across platforms.
  • Escalate recurring issues or potential risks that could affect event visibility, user experience, or content accuracy.

Reporting & Data Support

  • Provide occasional support with basic data gathering and analysis.
  • Pull information from different sources and organize findings for team leadership.
  • Track common QA errors, rework trends, recurring content issues, and turnaround times.
  • Help identify opportunities to improve existing QA processes, documentation, and workflows.
  • Contribute to maintaining shared QA standards, checklists, and best practices.

AI-Assisted Content Review

  • Use approved AI tools, such as Microsoft Copilot or similar platforms, to assist with content review and refinement.
  • Leverage AI to help identify unclear language, improve titles or descriptions, detect patterns, or support checklist-based QA activities.
  • Independently validate AI-generated recommendations before implementing or communicating changes.
  • Look for responsible ways to use AI to improve efficiency without compromising accuracy or quality.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with content owners, marketing, product, UX, technology, and other internal stakeholders.
  • Communicate clearly when content needs to be corrected or updated.
  • Follow up professionally with stakeholders to ensure identified issues are resolved.
  • Provide constructive feedback that helps content creators improve quality before future submissions.
  • Work closely with another team member performing similar QA responsibilities.
  • Participate in recurring team meetings and workflow discussions.
  • Help support onboarding, documentation, or training related to QA processes when needed.

Required Qualifications

  • 2–3 years of professional experience in one or more of the following areas:
  • Website quality assurance

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to clearly communicate issues and required corrections to stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Comfort working in a high-volume environment with recurring QA responsibilities.
  • Ability to follow established processes and checklists while exercising sound judgment.
  • Strong technology aptitude and ability to quickly learn new systems and tools.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently while also functioning as a strong team player.
  • Willingness to receive feedback, make adjustments, and continuously improve work.
  • Reliable follow-through and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
  • Experience with other enterprise CMS platforms.
  • Experience with digital event content, event websites, or event-management platforms.
  • Familiarity with platforms such as Cvent or similar event management systems.
  • Experience using Airtable, Jira, or similar workflow/project-management tools.
  • Familiarity with AI productivity tools such as Microsoft Copilot.
  • Experience reviewing content across desktop, mobile, and tablet environments.
  • Basic experience gathering, organizing, or analyzing digital content or operational data.
  • Experience working with geographically dispersed or cross-functional teams.

Typical Day-to-Day Work

A typical week may include reviewing newly created event listings, validating content and links, identifying inconsistencies, communicating corrections to event or content owners, updating content through a CMS, tracking QA activity in workflow tools, and performing post-publication checks. The individual may also assist with featured-content updates, investigate discrepancies between systems, gather basic data for leadership, attend team meetings, and help identify opportunities to improve existing QA processes. Because the organization manages a significant volume of digital event content, this position requires someone who can work efficiently without sacrificing accuracy.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
  • As a contractor, including remote contractors, you may be required to complete a background check.

As a contractor, you will be paid for the time you work; this does not include paid time off (PTO) or holidays. If you participate in our Payroll Services (W2) engagement, you may be eligible for Paid Sick Leave (PSL), depending on your work location and state-specific regulations.
