Job Summary

Own the digital content and social media engine for MNA by planning and producing engaging content, growing member participation, and driving data-driven optimization through SEO/SEM and analytics.

  • Content & Community: Plan, create, and coordinate social content and campaigns to grow engagement and mobilize members.
  • Member Amplification: Recruit and enable members to post and amplify messages across social channels.
  • Data-Driven Optimization: Use analytics to guide content strategy, paid social, and channel decisions.

Job Description

  • Coordinating, planning, and developing content for MNA’s digital properties, with a focus on growth and engagement on social platforms.
  • Plan, produce, and disseminate video, memes and other content for social channels across bargaining campaigns, electoral politics, legislative issues, nursing practice, and field organizing.
  • Recruit and support MNA members to post, repost, and amplify social media content.
  • Operate MNA’s social media accounts to engage and grow online communities, including day-to-day execution, community management, and ensuring message consistency across platforms.
  • Create paid social media efforts, including audience targeting, creative development, and placement.
  • Utilize reporting tools like Facebook Insights, Google Analytics, and other data analysis tools to provide strategic reports and optimize social efforts.
  • Coordinate SEO, SEM campaigns, Google Analytics, and Google AdWords.
  • Work to integrate traditional media and communications with digital efforts and emerging tools.
  • Coordinate and maintain MNA’s social media presence on member pages.
  • Research and evaluate new relevant social channels and their impact to inform effective digital technology use.
