Job Summary

Own the diocese’s digital presence by shaping strategy, content, and governance across the website and social channels, with a focus on engagement and measurable impact for parish, school, and ministry audiences.

  • Digital Strategy & Content: set direction and execution across channels, driving engagement and data-informed improvements.
  • Website & Partnerships: manage the site with Web Helpdesk and external partners to ensure performance, accessibility, and timely updates.
  • Cross-team Collaboration: partner with mission teams and diocesan offices to raise awareness of work across the network.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Lead the digital strategy, content development, and day-to-day management of the diocese’s digital platforms, including the website and social media channels.
  • Ensure a consistent, mission-driven digital presence while optimizing functionality, user experience, and engagement through data-informed strategy and analytics reporting.
  • Collaborate with marketing coordinators to build awareness of the work of mission teams and diocesan offices serving parishes, schools, and affiliated ministries.
  • Manage the diocesan website in partnership with Web Helpdesk administrators and external partners, and support multimedia planning with the Senior Media Production Coordinator.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, social media, videography, marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience in corporate or non-profit communications or marketing.
  • Strong knowledge of digital media platforms, digital campaigns, website, videography and analytic tools.
  • Basic understanding of the Catholic faith.
  • Commitment to lifelong learning and professional development.
  • Strong written and verbal communication.
  • Social media strategy and campaign development.
  • Video and audio production skills for use on all digital media channels.
  • Branding, content writing, and analytics.
  • Organizational and coordination of workflow production, with the ability to drive timely production and results.
